The engineering, procurement, and construction services provider will move its headquarters to four floors at the recently renovated Class A building
CALGARY (June 13, 2022) – Savills was tapped to relocate the headquarters for Bantrel Co., a major provider of engineering, procurement, and construction services throughout Canada. Bantrel will occupy a 61,000-square-foot space across four floors at Stephen Avenue Place located at 700 2nd Street SW in downtown Calgary. The company will relocate in July.
Bantrel currently resides in Southwest Calgary and with its lease expiring, the firm sought a new location in downtown Calgary to be near its current and prospective clients and to attract and retain top talent. Savills’ Calgary team of Senior Managing Director Josh Hamill, Corporate Managing Director Cody Watson, and Vice President Adam Stewart were selected to identify a solution for Bantrel.
The Savills team identified an opportunity at Stephen Avenue Place, owned by Slate Asset Management. The building recently underwent a $30 million renovation and features redesigned public spaces, tenant lounge, and games room. The tower also boasts a new 4,500-square-foot conference center, gym, and spin cycle studio, and one of the city’s best new restaurants, Major Tom Bar, resides on the top floor.

The new space at Stephen Avenue Place will allow Bantrel to create a cohesive and efficient workplace environment and contribute to a resurging downtown core.”
