Credit Union Central of Canada (CUCC) has moved to Toronto's urban core at 151 Yonge Street to more effectively promote its brand and fulfill future business objectives.
Real Facilities, a commercial real estate firm that represents tenants exclusively, assisted CUCC in developing a real estate strategy that would mirror CUCC's corporate vision and business plan objectives. Real Facilities FLOW™ process revealed a host of fresh opportunities for CUCC to review its options and examine what role its facilities would play in framing that new vision. Real Facilities, employing its proven process for strategic planning and lease negotiation, overcame tight timelines to successfully complete a long-term facilities solution on time and under budget.
"I'm very impressed with Real Facilities' resilience and resourcefulness to identify the right solution and to get the deal closed in such a tight timeframe." says Stephen Fitzpatrick, Vice President of Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer.
As a result of its decision to relocate, CUCC has consolidated its operations from two floors to one and was able to build out and commence operations at the Yonge Street premises before its former lease expired, without any duplication of costs.
