Sylvia MacLeod

Sylvia MacLeod is a Vice President in the Savills Toronto Office, specializing in strategic advisory and lease negotiation.  

Prior to joining Savills, Sylvia worked for large institutional and private landlords in senior leasing and asset management positions.  It is this expertise and negotiating experience that brings a unique and diverse perspective to her role at Savills as a tenant advocate. Sylvia’s corporate real estate experience, market knowledge and problem solving ability ensures that her clients receive superior service and tangible results.

Most recently, Sylvia served as Senior Director of Leasing at GWL Realty Advisors, where she was responsible for a 3.4 million square foot portfolio that included a Triple AAA bank tower complex and the Southcore Financial Centre, a new mixed use development.  She was instrumental in securing several large companies for those assets in a very competitive marketplace.  As well, Sylvia served in senior leasing roles on large portfolios at GE Capital Real Estate, Oxford Properties Group and Standard Life Insurance Corporation; again working on a number of diverse and high profile office and retail properties.

Sylvia is a Registered Broker with the Real Estate Council of Ontario and a Toronto Real Estate Board member.

Sylvia has earned numerous industry awards, most notably the NAIOP Rex Award for Office Lease Deal of the Year in 2004, a 123,000 square foot transaction. In addition, Sylvia earned awards for distinguished service at GE Capital, including the firm’s External Focus Award in 2012, its Award of Excellence in 2011 and Rookie of the Year in 2010. She also received an achievement award from Oxford Properties in 2008.
