Ruth Fischer is President, Canada and is based in Savills downtown Toronto office. She oversees the offices in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and Edmonton. With over two decades of international commercial real estate experience, Ruth has an exceptional reputation for building strong relationships and having deep industry expertise. With a profound understanding of the Canadian market, she will lead operations in Canada and spearhead Savills strategic growth in enhancing service offerings and driving strategic growth.
Ruth’s commercial real estate experience has spanned Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Savills, Ruth held several roles at CBRE since 2010 including real estate management consultant and leading the firm’s Client Solutions team in Canada.
Most recently, Ruth was the Managing Director of CBRE’s operations in Quebec and led brokerage activities across Montreal, Saint-Laurent, and Quebec City. She effectively applied her acumen for brokerage, urban planning, client diagnostics, portfolio and workplace strategy, location analyses, master planning, and land use to her leadership role. Ruth’s early career included working as an urban planner, an academic researcher, and a research analyst for commercial brokerage covering markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
