Roberta Diachok is a senior professional with over two decades of experience in commercial real estate management and design.
As Vice President of Project Management and Design, Roberta leads her team in maintaining strong relationships, enhancing team productivity, ensuring quality, driving innovation and ultimately satisfying their clients. She also focuses value engineering costs by providing market research, financial analyses, and strategic planning. Throughout the entire real estate process, she is the sole point of contact when finding the optimal space and outfitting of the premises.
During the course of her career, Roberta has led over 500 expansion and renovation projects, managed 1,000-450,000 square-foot projects through all phases of delivery, managed interior renovations from $5K-$115M and served as consultant for new build projects costing $15M-$830M. Additionally, she has over 10 years of experience developing and managing teams of up to 17 people for architecture and interior design projects that service more than 30,000 employees.
Prior to working with Savills, Roberta worked for Lifemark, Colliers International, George Brown College, Forrec, Rogers Communications, BBB Architects and Straticom Planning Associates, holding numerous positions from team lead to director.
Roberta currently serves as the GTA Chapter president of the Association of Registered Interior Designers (ARIDO) on CoreNet’s REmmy Committee. She is also a volunteer at Humber College’s Interior Design Program and previously volunteered with numerous programs such as the Project Management Institute as a Mentor, Eva’s Place, Home for Life, Ryerson University, Environmental Waste Committee, Walk a Mile (WAM), The Furniture Bank and Roger’s Youth Fund. In addition to her vast community service background, Roberta has been awarded for her work in the interior design industry.
Roger’s Communications gave her its 2014 Customer 1st Team Award and Legal Aid Ontario presented her with its 2004 Award of Excellence. From 2008-2009, Builders Digest Magazine gave her the Toronto Construction Association’s Quarterly Perspective for her work with Mount Sinai Hospital and she was LEED certified in 2008. Roberta is a FitWell Ambassador (2017) and working on her Masters in Corporate Real Estate (CoreNet) and Well Ap accreditation.
